How to Boost Your Exposure on TikTok

Have you been trying to increase your exposure on TikTok? There are countless recommendations that people give for hashtags, sounds to use, and trends to hop on. While these recommendations may be beneficial and help you achieve that increased exposure, it can feel overwhelming to stay on top of these things. Below, we’ve outlined a very simple way to increase your exposure and reach your intended audience:


TikTok Search Bar

Using the search feature on TikTok, type in a word or phrase that applies to you and your business. For example, ours may be “real estate podcast”. For an agent, it may be “Minnesota real estate” or “Twin Cities realtor”. Whatever you choose, search the phrase. In the search results, look at the videos that come up. What keywords did they use in their captions and in their video? These may be keywords that you should incorporate into your content!

Another great tool within the search bar to use is the “others searched for” feature. See below for our example with “real estate podcast”:

 

This feature allows you to see exactly what other people are searching for, making it easier than ever to know what wording you should be including in your video/caption to appear in search results!

The TikTok algorithm may be difficult to keep up with, but you can never go wrong by producing content that contains the exact things that your intended audience is searching for!
