New Instagram Reels Feature: Use as Template
You’re going to want to hear this! Instagram is in the process of releasing a new “Use as template” feature for Reels. Creating Reels just became WAY easier. With this new feature, users are able to copy the formats and timestamps from existing Reels.
This new feature is still in trial with a limited number of users, so it may not appear on your account quite yet, but keep an eye out for it because it may be coming soon!
Using Reels Templates is a super easy process. For Reels that have templates available, there will be a button that says “Use template” just above the username of the creator. You can either click this button, or you can click the three-dot icon and then select “Use as template” from the menu that appears. Either of these options will bring pull up the time stamps for each clip in the Reel (see the tweet below to see how this looks). Click “Add media” to upload your own clips to fit each time frame.
This IG update is a game changer, as it makes the Reels creation and editing process way smoother and quicker! We’re looking forward to this feature being available to everyone soon!
